They meet the ante natal mothers and motivate them to test their HIV status along with their spouses. Once the mother is found positive, the women and the child will be given drugs to prevent the transmission of HIV from the parents to children. Besides, the people suffering with the tuberculosis are being referred to the Tuberculosis centers for further treatment. The People Living with HIV including the ante natal mothers, post natal mothers and their spouses are being encouraged to attend the support group meetings organised by the project at the village level. The project takes efforts to get the social benefits to the PLHIVs from Government Departments and from other sources. The advocacy meetings with ANMs, VHNs, and Anganwadi Workers are being regularly organised to mobilize the pregnant women to access the services.
